The CAP is the top piece of the grinder with the beautiful hand blasted finish and shiny Herb
Ripper logo. It has a smooth top and teeth on the inside. This piece does not have any threads.
The BODY is the next piece in the line-up. This piece has teeth on the top that integrate with
the cap, holes for your herb to fall through, and quick threads on the bottom to attach to your
screen body or basin (depending on model).
The SCREEN BODY is the piece with the screen. This piece assists in catching your grinded herb
and allowing your kief to separate (depending on model).
The BASIN is the bottom of the grinder and it just catches all the good stuff! This piece is also
threaded to attach to your screen body or basin based on our model.
While the grinder is technically dishwasher safe, dishwashers just weren’t designed to clean sticky,
delicious, messy teeth. Toothbrushes, however, most definitely were!!
My preference is to use some original Blue Dawn and a toothbrush. It really does the job getting those
teeth sparkly clean. As a bonus it makes it a breeze to only scrub the areas that are in the most need of some care. Always take care to not scrub the magnet too hard.
The storage cap is GLORIOUS!! It has the same custom quick threads as the body of the grinder.
This makes it a breeze to store your sweet stuff on the go – just grind your nuggs, they fall in the
basin, unscrew the body, and screw on your storage cap!! This makes it so easy to store your
grind for later, or put it in your pocket and take it to the party.
The storage basin is essentially a deeper version of the basin that comes with the grinder. It has
the same quick threads to make life easy peasy. This can be used with the storage cap as a
container that does not allow any light to touch your goods, or it can be used with the grinder
to catch more of your grind.
Ahhh, the little stainless steel ball you never knew you needed! The little stainless ball rides on
top of the screen on the 4th piece of the grinder. This little ball will help agitate your herb on
top of the screen so all the wonderful keif will fall freely. It’s the perfect example of free balling!
While our medium plate fits most people’s needs, there are always those out there that live life
a little on the finer side. The only difference in the fine plate and the medium plate is the size of
the holes your herb falls through. If you want things a little more fine (like a lady on vine), just
keep all your grinder pieces together, turn her upside down, and give her 4-5 more turns. Flip
her back over and everything will fall through just the way you like it. I promise.
